Synthetic resins white undercoat. Suitable for the preparation of interior and exterior wooden surfaces and walls. Cohesive and non cracking over time due to its extremely elastic film that expands and contracts with wood. Great hiding power. Excellent flow. Easy sanding. Ideal undercoat for PAINTOL enamel and METAL-X enamel paint. Easily sanded causing no alteration to the sheen of the top coat. Unique combination of easy application and excellent flow.

Preparation

Carefully prepare surface to obtain good results. Remove all weathered coatings, loose materials and oils. Sand surface smooth and remove sanding residue with a rag.

► New wood:
Sand and clean sanding residue. Apply 1-2 coats of POLACRYL wood preservative. Apply 1-2 coats of VELATOURA.

► Old previously painted wood:
Sand and clean sanding residue. Apply putty. Apply 1-2 coats of VELATOURA.

► Walls with stains and smoke:
Sand lightly and clean sanding residue. Apply 1-2 coats of VELATOURA.

Use

Roller, brush or spray airless. Thin by 5-10% WHITE SPIRIT/THINNER 135.

Minimum application temperature: 5ºC

Drying out - coverage

Drying times are dependent on ambient temperature and film thickness. Touch dry: 1-2 hours. Recoat: 16-18hours. Practical coverage: 7-11m²/lt depending on the thickness of each coat and the surface porosity.
